My records agree with those of John Browning, the locomotive originally being supplied to Craig & Martin, Brazil. It later went to Portland Cement, Cajamar as thier No. 8 and where it was converted from its original build as an 0-4-0T to a 0-4-2WT, preserved here in 1996.

5990 is recorded as an 0-4-0T built by Orenstein & Koppel for Decaville

it is not an 0-4-0t it is a 2-6-2
