Locomotive is now located by the former SP Bayshore (Brisbane) Roundhouse. Recent efforts focused on setting up a secure work site to continue the restoration. Plans for Summer 2010 are to have the drivers back under the frame. (May 2010)

This locomotive, former State Belt Railway of California No. 4, is now at the Golden Gate Railroad Museum in S.F., Calif.  (Same group that operates SP 4-6-2 No. 2472).  No. 4 is being restored to operating condition.
