The locomotive was delivered during WW2 to the DRB (as successor to the DRG) as No. 52 5548 and was sequestrated, inn1945, by the USSR for use by their SŽD as No. the TE-5548. Last noted 1994 in Lviv Oblast. Whilst it ended up in Ukraine (now a separate country) whilst still part if the Soviet Union, it probably always ran for SŽD rather than Ukraine Railways?
