After the general inspection in Meiningen, the locomotive received a new frame and two newly built steam cylinders and is currently in scheduled use.

It’s original DR number was 99 331 (not just 331) as previously mistakenly wrote!!!

Originally delivered to the uranium mining company, SD A.G., Wismut-Aue as their No. 22 at their slurry pumping facility. In 1961 it was sold to the DR for their railway from Bad Doberan, becoming No. 331, later No. 99 2331, then being converted for superheated steam at RAW Görlitz, then becoming DR No. 099 904. It became MB No. 099 904 in 1995, reverting to 99 2331, as it was in 2006.
