The origins of this locomotive are not generally listed but by date of build it must have been built for the KPEV that, after a couple of years became the DRG who, presumably numbered the locomotive 77 009. The DRG was re-named DRB before WW2 and at some stage all the locomotives of this type were re-numbered by either the latter, or the succeeding DR, into Class 95, and this re-appeared as No. 95 009 and later, upon computerisation as No. 95 0009-1. The locomotive is oil fired.
