Since 1992 the locomotive has been standing (under roof) as a monument locomotive in good condition in the Freiburg depot. Exact position: 47.98744036863272, 7.8320760969036

This was delivered new to the DRG, becoming the DRB in 1937. Following WW2 it was to be found in the French occupation zone in Speyer, and served here until 1951 when it eventually joined the western zone DB, then based for a decade at two depots in Wuppertal. It was then removed from traffic and served as a stationary boiler at Bw Warburg until 1965 before going back to Raw Kassel making ready for display, first in Konstanz for fifteen years then, in late 1979 inOberbürgermeister, Freiburg followed in 1991 by a local group outside the then Bw, as photographed by myself.
