DB (for whom it has never worked) should be replaced in the title after KPEV ownership, by the DRG; the original DRB prior to, and during WW2, then the DR Post 1945 please.

The locomotive operating period expired in September 1998. The locomotive was loaned to the Steam Locomotive Friends of Berlin and can be visited in good condition in the Berlin-Schöneweide museum depot. 52.447248° 13.520810°

It is worth mentioning that some sites record this locomotive as 9525/1916 rather than 9523 ?

Originally delivered to KPEV as Berin Division No. 8703 that, in 1925 became DRG No. 74 1230 until the mid-thities when that became DRB. After WW2 it joined the new DR in 1949 in the same identity until 1981 when it joined their Traditional fleet in Dresden. It has now joined others working from the now private Bw Schöneweide.
