Delivered in 1949 to the DEA - Deutsche Erdöl AG, Kraftwerk Graf Bismarck, Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck, Germany named Graf Bismarck XVI. In 1973 the company became Deutsche Texaco AG, and in 1979 the locomotive went to DEW - Dampfeisenbahn Weserbergland e. V., Rinteln, Germany as their number 6 and where it was in 2002. In 2006 it went to the CITEV - Compagnie Internationale des Trains Express à Vapeur, Saint Jean du Gard, Gard, France as No. 040 T 25724 after its build number.
