Delivered to the then DRB at the height of WW2 as No. 52 3211 and joined the emerging DR during 1949 in the same identity. During the Autumn of 1966 it was recalled to Raw Stendal for re-construction with a new boiler from Raw Magdeburg and emerged as No. 52 8175 becoming in 1970, No. 52 8175-3 and running until being withdrawn in1987 and later stored at Bw Altenburg. During 1993 it was purchased by B Falz, first being stored in sidings outside Bw B-Basdorf; later for a few years at Juterbog Altes-Lager and finally in 2004 outside the former freight depot of Bw Falkenberg/Elster.
