Since June 2006, the locomotive has been in Schwarzerden for optical refurbishment. 49.53331867772902, 7.291904366623451

Delivered in 01/1944 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2648 that following WW2 joined the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the same identity. In 1965 it was called into their Raw Stendal for reconstruction including a combustion chamber boiler (Raw Halberstadt 336/1965), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges. It left here bearing new No. 52 8147, until being computerised as No. 52 8147-2. It was parked in a central reserve in 1986 until withdrawn in 1991 then going to Stassfurt, before being plinthed in front of Bf Quedlinburg Hof In 06/2006 it was bought privately by Recruitment at AkO - Arbeitskreis Ostertalbahn e. V., Schwarzerden that later went on loan to HEH - Historische Eisenbahn Hunsrück e. V., Morbach as No 52 8147-2. Please note change of location.

This locomotive is currently dismantled and being restored to working order by the Ostertalbahn, based in Schwarzerden (Saar).
