Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3420, as it was through the SBZ years and with DR from 1949; it was re-built as a Rekolok (probably in RAW Stendal sometime 1958-1962) to become No. 52 8098, and was finally withdrawn on Christmas Day 1991 at Bw Halle/Salle. Saved by the BEM, Nördlingen in mid 1992, it was here until the year 2000, then moved to the SEH, Heilbronn until 2010, as a previous note by Brian.

This locomotive is privately owned and left Heilbronn in 2010. It is now with the Eisenbahn Museum Bayerische Bahnhof Leipzig and kept at Bw Leipzig Plagwitz. Status stored.

Builder Krauss-Maffei. This locomotive is now based at the SEH Heilbronn, Status Display.
