Delivery to DRB (NOT DRG which it succeeded) Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2455 that was, in 07/1945 directed by the OBL-USZ - General operations management of the US zone, Frankfurt (Main) - [American Occupied Zone Railway Administration] but in 1945 joined the Soviet sector based DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the newly created East Germany. In 1963 it was called into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 31437/1963) and other modifications, emerging as No. 52 8087. It was computerised in 1970 as No. 52 8087-0, then renumbered again following the unification merger with DB in 1991, becoming from 01/1992 No. 052 087-4 and running until the end of 1992, but not withdrawn until 1995 when it was purchased privately by Lothar Kaminski as No. 52 8087-0. In 1996 it was on loan to the SDN - Schwaben-Dampf e. V., at Bf Neuoffingen, Offingen as No. 52 8087 bearing the NVR number: 90 80 0051 087-9 D-SDN]; then in.2012 privately to Battenberg, Germany as No. 52 8087-0, followed in 05/2013 to 10/2018 in storage at WESO-Aurorahütte GmbH, Gladenbach, Germany in a private vehicle collection near Battenberg in 2018.
