This locomotive joined the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2295 in 05/1943 and was accepted at Rbw Göttingen prior to being moved east to Posen (now Poznan, Poland. In 1963 it was called by the DR into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a new boiler, (SKL Magdeburg 31433/1963), emerging from here in 07/1963 as No. 52 8086, later in 1970 computerised as No. 52 8086-2 and ran until early 1987 before being withdrawn from traffic later in the year. Having joined the stock of the merged DB, it was sold privately in 12/1993 and remains as decribed elsewhere.

The loco was stored from 1/1985, serving later as a mobile Dampfspender at Bw Wustermark until withdrawn in 4/87 It was on loan from 12/1993 to Forderverein Wupperschhiene Remscheid (the restorers of the Wuppertalbahnand) and in 8/2019 was sold to its current owners. It has had some cosmetic restoration.(as at 2021)
