Delivered to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2644 at Bw Kassel from where it was commissioned into their Rbd Osten, then in what is now Poland, returning west after WW2. It was called for reconstruction in Raw Stendal in 1960, including a combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 30228/1960), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges being renumbered afterwards as No. 52 8006 which was computerised in 1970 as No. 52 8006-6, working until 1991 though id did gain another newcidentity after 01/1992 when DB and DR merged following unification of Germany and in 06/1992 went to the Bernd Falz Collection, Dampflok-Museum Hermeskeil, Hermeskeil and where it remained stored in 2022.
