This, Inbelieve, should be recorded as Henschel & Sohn 24849/1j943 (NOT 24843) that was delivered new in 01/1943 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2093. In 1944 it was leased to the CFR - Cailor Ferate Române, Romania but returned the same year, and following the end of WW2 in Europe, it found itself in Esat Germany and joined the newly created DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the Soviet occupying sector. It carried its original numberbuntil being computerised in 1970 as 52 2093-4, running until 1981 followed by withdrawal at Leipzig- Engelsdorf. The following year it joined the Bernd Falz collection at St. Wendel Railway Museum, latterly by 1985 at Hermeskeil Steam Locomotive Museum as No. 52 2093, where it remains.
