Delivered to the DRB during the first year of WW2 as No. 50 904, it survived hostilities to be taken during 1949, into DB service in the same identity. It was later renumbered as 050 904-2 before being withdrawn from Bw Wedau in 1977. Preserved privately in Ebensfeld, in 1990 it went to the DDM and has more recently moved to Lichtenfels for restoration.

The machine has moved to Lichtenfels in Bavaria. The condition is not better as shown in the photo of 1992!

Ex DB No. 50.904, a 2-10-0 awaits restoration at Deutsches Dampflokmotiv Museum at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg on 13 October 1992.
