Delivered to the then DRB at the height of WW2 as No. 52 3223 and joined the emerging DR during 1949 in the same identity. During late 1962 it was recalled to Raw Stendal for re-construction with a new boiler from Raw Magdeburg and emerged as No. 52 8070 becoming in 1970, No. 52 8070-6 and running until being withdrawn in 1981 and later the same year purchased by the VEB in Peitz, where it is believed to remain.
