Originally delivered to,band accepted by, the DRB, previously the DRG, in 01/1940 at Bw Göttingen as No. 50 096, then assigned to Direction Kassel. Following WW2 it found itself in the DDR that in 1961, entered Raw Stendal for re-construction with Raw Halberstadt 196/1961 boiler and preheater, emerging as No. 50 3680, computerised in 1970 as No. 50 3680-1. It ran until being withdrawn in 1983 and was bought, in 1993 by EFO - Eisenbahnfreunde Oberberg, for tge Eisenbahnmuseum Gummersbach-Dieringhausen which, in 2003 went on display at what was the former DB Bf Lindlar - Linde where it is privately.

24 September 1994 stored out of use at bw Dieringhausen in a sidin close to the roundhouser.
