Delivery in 09/1941 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 50 1493 at Bw Göttingen and commissioned the following month into Rbd Hannover. At the end of WW2 it found itself in the Soviet sector of East Germany and subsequently running for the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the GDR in the same identity. It was called, in 11/1960, into Aw Stendal for reconstruction, emerging the following month as No. 50 3635, and with computerisation in 1970 became No. 50 3635-5 and ran until 03/1988 when called into Aw Meiningen for conversion into a steam dispenser for use at Bw Angermünde, it being shutdown in 07/1991 and withdrawn in 09/1993 when it was sold privately to Bernd Falz as No. 50 3635.
