This was delivered new to Saargruben AG, Saarbrücken, Germany as their No. 12 and after WW2 worked at Mission Française des Mines de la Sarre, Saarbrücken,; later RMS - Régie des Mines de la Sarre, Saarbrücken which in 1954 became S. B.W. - Saarbergwerke, Saarbrücken and, in 1967 SBW - Saarbergwerke AG, Saarbrücken, the locomotive No. 26. This was first preserved in 1982 in Grube Duhamel, Ensdorf, Germany then in 1987 at MECL - Museums-Eisenbahn-Club Losheim Eisenbahnfreunde e. V., Losheim, Germany and named Merzig as well as No. 26., receiving a new boiler No. 1466 from Raw Meiningen in 1990! and where it was in 07/2021.
