After the deadline expired in 2016, the refurbishment of the locomotive began immediately. Following the renewal of the long boiler in 2005, the work now also includes the renewal of the standing boiler. On November 28, 2021, after the repair work was completed, the locomotive drove the first meters under its own power after five years and in the fall of 2022 the locomotive was put back into operation after all work was completed. Originally identified as "SCHUNTER 16" that was out of servive by 1921. In 1930 it was at Walschleben Sugar Mill until 1937 after which it wasbnoted at three or four industrial locations until, in 1948, arriving at the BIAG location for Brown Coal near Düren, later at Weisweiler the, in 1954, back to a Sugar Factory in Euskirchen. It bore no numerical identity during these years. Finally in 1974 it was preserved by the AGHE, Almetalbahn as No. 16, and where it was in 2008.
