My information is that the boiler repair has been found to be unsatisfactory and that there is a dispute between the owner of the loco and the boiler maker.

Prior to WW2 this was Mecklenburg-Pommersche Schmalspurbahn No. 12 that only, in 1948, became DR No. 99 3462. It spent some time in the UK from early 1971, and where I photographed it receiving attention inside BR Carnforth depot in April that year, see Album, prior to going to the Vale of Rheidol Railway in Porthmadoc. It returned to Germany in December 1978 as MECKLENBURG 12 and where it was in 2003. It has since been based and rebuilt at the Bad Muskau Forest Railway, eastern Germany where it was operational in the Autumn of 2018.
