This was originally DRG as No. 99 713, through WW2 to 1949 when it then became DR, later No. 99 1713-9 and, from 1992 on accession of DB, computerised No. 099 720-5.

It should be noted that the correct number for this ex East German (DR)750mm gauge 0-10-0T is number 99.713. When this loco was taken into the stock of the reunified German DB it was given the no. 099 720-5 not 099 713-0 which was given to ex DR Meyer 0-4-4-0T no. 99.1608. In the web entry of DR 0-10-0T no. 99.713, 99.1608 is incorrectly given as its DR number. Please see also my note posted under 99.1608. Both locos are however correctly pictured.
