O&K 4959/1911 was indeed built as a Standard gauge 0-4-0F locomotive. It was at Gewerkschaft Ilberstedt, Stassfurt, Leopoldshall until 04/1927. later going to Blankenburg/Harz until the end of 1930 when it was re-purchased by O&K., from here going to the HEW at Kraftwerk Schulau. In late 1941 it went to Hansa-Mühle, HH-Wilhelmsburg and in 1946 back to the HEW and in March 1948 to their werk at Alt Garge as No. 2, later being placed on display at HEW Hamburg. from at least 1985 to April 2003. Since May 2003 it has been at the AGB, Geesthacht where it was in 2008.

It is interesting that it says the loco should be an 0-6-0t, because the builders number, O&K 4959, is this loco shown in the picture. I am a member of the society and know this loco.

I dont know which loco is shown on the photo, but it is certainly NOT an 0-6-0T wheel arrangement. It is an 0-4-0 fireless.

This locomotive is an 0-4-0F and it was donated to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Geesthachter Eisenbahne.V. after the Museum der Elektrizität was closed. It is now on display at the engine house in Geesthacht.
