The Barry Tourist Railway is a railway developed to attract visitors to Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is a key element of the Barry Rail Centre which also includes engineering and training facilities. Its where Susan can be found running on steaming days there.

The Barry War Museum (run by the Barry at War Group) aims to research, preserve and promote the wartime history of the town and surrounding area. The Barry War Museum operates at Barry Island Station and they also operate the Barry Railway there from the Goodsheds site at Hood Road, Barry. Heritage Trains operate at 15 minute intervals between 09.00hrs and 12.00hrs on Saturdays and Sundays. Train rides are in a 100 year old Great Western Railway Brake Van hauled by heritage steam and diesel locomotives.
