Pictured at its home depot in Le Creusot on 13th June 2015. Notice that the loco carries the arms of Le Creusot on the buffer beam,

From any angle this great 4-8-2 is impressive and this photo shows much of the detail of the loco. Notice the feedwater heater up by the smokebox with the feedwater pump on the running plate. The reverser reach rod has added complexity to avoid the feedwater pump.

More detail of the left hand side of the loco. The feedwater pump dominates the centre of the photo with the feedwater heater top left. Notice the sandbox around the dome as in American practice. Interestingly, the drive for the mechanical lubricator is taken from the expansion link.

241P17 running around its train at Chagny whilst bound for Belfort on 14th June 2015. This view of the right hand side of the loco shows that it has an injector below the cab as well as the feedwater heater at the front end. The generator for the electric lighting sits on the running plate.
