A close up of the conversion of 'Polly' from road engine to railway engine. A neat, professional looking conversion with a hefty brake arrangement. The crank pin on the wheel gives away that it is recovered from a scrapped railway loco. It's a competent conversion, though.

Signs of the traction engine origins are everywhere. The boiler top cylinder mounting and geared drive are so typical of the traction engine..
