The emblem of the London & North Western Railway as carried by 'Hardwicke'. Featuring Britannia, a British symbol referring to the early days of Britain's railways.

At Shildon in 2013 as part of an assembly of some London and North Western Railway locos, 'Hardwicke' stands alongside 'Cornwall'.

At Christmas 2006, 'Hardwicke', decorated for the occasion, stands on the turntable of the National Railway Museum, York. I can't say that the tinsel improves the loco at all!

The classic London & North Western Railway number plate, a style that once adorned many more than a thousand locomotives.

Running through Heighington on 31st August 1975 in the Cavalcade of Locomotives marking the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway.

On June 11th 1977 there was an exhibition of some of the pride of the National Railway Museum. 'Hardwicke' was there.
