When these locos were in use at South Hetton back in the 1970's it was a busy site with links to the main line and a direct independent line to Seaham Harbour and Murton coke works. Even then diesels were on site, but whilst it is good to be able to see an ex South Hetton loco again, it is a pity to see it in such shabby condition. October 2018.
