On 26th September, 2014, 2807 runs into Goathland station, a long way from Great Western territory. The loco was on the 12.29 from Grosmont and handled the train in fine style. As you'd expect from this GWR 2-8-0 there was no fuss, just a job well done. Not bad for a loco in its 99th year at the time!

The right hand side cylinder and pony truck. Notice the typical Churchward design for the front end with extension frames ahead of the cylinder blocks braced to the smokebox. Quite North American in principle.
