In its day as one of Colonel Holman F Stephens' group of impecunious light railways, the Kent & East Sussex, like all of these lines, depended on second hand locos from any source that could be found. But even Colonel Stephens never operated anything like this tidy Norwegian Mogul.

The cab side with it's brass numbers and builder's plate. Nydqvist & Holm's names didn't normally appear on locos in the UK in 1919, but they do in 2017!
