42765 is seen standing in Barry scrapyard in July 1969, prior to rescue and restoration.

Running tender first on a visit to the Great Central Railway in January 2018. The loco is running in early LMS red livery with it's original number applied to the tender. This method was replaced by the number being on the cab side which made more sense as tenders often were exchanged between locos.

Seen on the East Lancashire Railway in 2000, the loco is in it's early British Railways livery as 42765.
