The remaining front end of the once mighty freight loco seen from the rear.

Cutting through the boiler shows how the superheater elements are fitted inside the flue tubes and the main steam pipe at the top, leading into the superheater header.

The big casting of the motion bracket dominates this photo. The radius rod lies, disconnected, in the expansion link, representing full forward setting of the valves. The slide bars for the right hand cylinder can be seen bottom right
