Still in it's theme park brightly coloured paint scheme and lettered for 'Dreamland' the loco was under restoration when this photo was taken.

During it's theme park career No5 has acquired an American style. The cab and bunker are somewhat different to the usual Perry outline, clearly intended to give the loco a 'Western' look. The headlight follows the theme.

No5's front end during the overhaul. Notice the US style headlight from it's theme park days.

As a 24 inch gauge loco outside frames are necessary. As a result the rods work on fly cranks outside the frames complete with the essential counterweights.

The cab was stripped of fittings during the overhaul.

The centre driving wheel set is flangeless to cope with the sharp curves of cane field railways.
