There is a wide range of exhibits at the Discovery Centre as the photos show. Notice the traction engine standing behind No 4 and the car in the background in this shot..

Such a typical British built industrial loco of the era...and they kept building them in a very similar style into the 1950s. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Also typical of British built industrial locos of the era is the vestigial cab. Great if the rain always falls perfectly vertically.

On the footplate of No 4. Very simple controls. They economised on sight glasses with just test cocks nearest the camera.
