D 604's works plate. Not one from Beyer Peacock, as this would have the works number on it. This one will have been made locally.

On the neat footplate of this British design 4-6-0. Wouldn't have looked out of place on Scotland's Highland Railway!

The front end. Basically nicely balance appearance with the smokebox and chimney aligned on the centre line of the leading bogie....but all the air brake clutter spoils the effect. Pity!
