On 30th April 2002 and now running as 99.6001-4 the loco is being prepared for the annual Walspurgis Nacht special to Stiege from Wernigerode.

The unique 2-6-2T today running as Nordhausen-Wernigerode Eisenbahn (NWE) No.21 is in the forest climbing away from Eisfelder Tamühle towards Stiege on 7th May 1993.

No.21 (99.6001-4) departs from Gernrode with a train for Harzgerode on 7th May 1994.

99.6001-4 is piloted by Mallet 0-4-4-0T 99.5901-6 up the hill to Drei Annen Hohne with the annual Walspurgis Nacht special to Stiege from Wernigerode on 30th April 2002.
