043-746-7 and 044 481-0 were making their presence felt whilst heading an iron-ore train between Emden and Rheine (Ems), north of Lathen (Ems) on 30th January 1975. Sadly, the pilot locomotive No. 043-746-7 did not make it into the 21st century, unlike its train engine No. 044 481-0.
