The information about the loco reveals the reason for it's run down appearance and discusses the issues facing museums everywhere. Do you restore the loco to it's original condition or do you display it in 'as withdrawn condition'? With this exhibit they have bravely opted for the latter to give a more rounded view of the steam locomotives life and times.
